China’s e-waste junk brings hazardous effects

The world’s disposal of electronic waste is increasing, and it’s China that receives about 70 percent of it.

Processing the growing mountain of electronic junk has come at a high cost for many living in and around the factories.

Al Jazeera’s Rob McBride reports from Beijing.

  1. I am an Ewaste recycler and I get more stuff than I can deal with and this is just a very small town. E waste is huge.

  2. At least they seem to feel a greater sense of responsibility toward their own good selves than the equivalent Indian operations.

  3. Haha another e-waste story? I guess it's news, we upgrade though phones, TVs and computers pretty quickly so this would be the price.
