According a recent report, deforestation accounts for up to 25% of global warming each year. In the next four years, if the rate of deforestation persists, more carbon dioxide will be pumped into the atmosphere than the total of all the flight emissions in history to 2025. 1. Don't be absurd, why would you take the much, much shorter route across the Atlantic? That just makes no sense when you can make the trip take far longer.
