Why isn't ozone listed as a greenhouse gas? Ozone has a heat trapping effectiveness of 2000 times that of carbon dioxide according to the chemistry study guide by Geoffrey Neuss (p133) and is now considered by the IPCC to be the third most important greenhouse gas after carbon dioxide and methane, according to this website: http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/monitoring-references/faq/greenhouse-gases.php
