Ehang’s Drone Copter Aims To Fly You Around — CES 2016

These days, drones are everywhere you look. But EHang caught everyone’s eye with a ‘Drone Copter’ called the ‘184,’ that was teased on the CES 2016 showroom floor. Currently the company has a working prototype and it is working on working with various governments to eventually get the 184 in the skies near you.

I thought I’d talk a little about some of the popular science books I have and why I find them enjoyable. If you want to chat about any of the content in this vid please comment and of course subscribe if you’d like to. Or not. Up to you.

  4. Why they not showing a real flying for this jumbo drone, simply because it is just a scam for investors ….. this drone is not safe at all it can fly for limited height only ….. it could be dangerous for any one would fly with it .

  5. I think this company is full of shit. trying to get scam investors and such. they seem to have no flight demonstration of any kind, that's odd for a "fully functioning prototype"

  6. It will need a fast deploying parachute before I get one. Or an outer self-deploying air-bubble in case all rotors malfunction (just like how Curiosity landed on Mars)

  8. Great video. I read Genome whilst studying A-level biology and I must admit it really helped keep my love for the subject going whilst we were studying some of the less interesting parts in lessons. As for A Short History of Nearly Everything, it's one of my favourite popular science books. I think it's such a good popular science book as it's written by a very good author who isn't a scientist but has a keen interest in the subject. Another good one you could try if you haven't already is Your Inner Fish by Neil Shubin!

  9. I really loved this video, thanks for uploading it! I'm interested in science, but I'm an English lit researcher so it's not something I know a huge about about. So thanks for the recommendations, and I loved the Futurama reference, nicely done 🙂
