Thank you!!!!
what is the price of the car &
That could do what!? I believe it's way under 500w/hr… But about the heat with that lens 😧 then you will lose that 50% efficient lol my guess is that that car could do only 1kw per day with that amount of surface of solar
I laic solar car
the roof, the hood the front windshield the back windshield cover and the rear panel SHOULD ALL BE CARBON BASE SOLAR PANELS.
The charging station should have solar panels all over the ground so the concentrated sunlight will generate even more juicy juice.
Where is the car?
I think it's too slow to charge the car battery using solar power, but is good to have as most of us park our car in the car park maybe for few hours during working hours. It is good to optimize the solar energy.
warum ist es noch nicht auf dem markt?
Instead of trying to use this captured energy for the car itself, why not use this to assist-power the grid. In other words, run a plug out to feed electric power stations. Every little bit of contribution helps. This could cut down on (in most cases) fossil fuels burning 24/7 to keep giant turbines cranking along.
300 W * 5 = 1.5Kw-H which will get you about 6 miles without concentrator.
300W for a device that can yank out 120KW. You'd be waiting all damn day to get some decent mileage out of it. It only makes sense if you were only powering a golf cart.
I guess you'd have to be careful where you walked in the garage without the car in it, lest you be terribly burned. I also wonder just how hot the interior of the car would become under the lenses.
Wow
now that is amazing I love to own one
140 petawatts hits the earth every day, but ~70% of the earths surface is covered by water.
This is a no brainier and not new technology either.
It could have been done 40 years ago
what is the price? availability in Chennai Tamilnadu.
So why is this not on the market already? This is just a Ford propaganda piece to keep the greenies off their back.
