  1. Why does the graph show only 0.5 million years? The human genus has existed for at least five times as long, and then there's rougly 140 times this graph between us and the dinosaurs. Show the whole picture, otherwise it might seem like you're just sensationalizing and playing on emotions.

  2. BTW CO2 IS NOT THE WORLDS BEST FERTILIZER AND IT ISNT JUST THE RELEASE OF IT AND ITS FRACTION IN THE ATMOSPHERE THAT DICTATES THE HEALTH AND VITALITY OF VEGETATION. IN ORDER TO TAP INTO THE OIL SOURCES LAND IS BEING ALTERED AND CHANGED IN TURN DECREASING THE VEGETATION AMOUNT AND QUALITY. IT IS SAD THAT SOME BELIEVE BELIEVE THIS IS GOOD.

  3. He's Just saying that in regards to the decisions we will make; the power lies behind our feelings. He is not saying it isn't happening. He is just not saying it is. I agree with him somewhat, the planet can fry but at the end of the day, the real question is will we stop it? And even if the climate isnt changing, our energy consumption is still EVIDENTLY RUINING THE PLANET!!!!

  4. (at)duck24x, do a google search and you will see that there are *many* scientists who don't believe in anthropogenic global warming. The tide is shifting away from the snake oil industry.

  5. (at)duck24x the "proven" part of GW is not what the deniers and skeptics are denying. They are challenging the whole climate change industry, the hypocrisy, the fraud, the fear mongering, the psuedoscience, and the hidden agenda, which is the real story here.

the skepticss have plenty of respectable spokespeople.

I am pretty dead set against hysteria and moral panic. But I can say that terrorism does actually exist, its not any kind of hoax, though I dont know what you have in mind by "terrorism" and I think that terrorism is a vague, easily abused, and almost useless term.

  8. Wake up people. Global warming needs to redefined as global climate change. Look at the graphs! they usually show the last 4 ice ages. it's repetitive. It may not be tomorrow or next year, but we're getting ready to start a next ice age. Just study the ice core graphs. CO2 lags temperature by hundreds of years, yes we are adding to it, but it does not control temp. study the earth and sun magnegtic fields, that's whats allowing the earth to heat up. do your own research.

  9. Pick your expert and get any point of view you want. I'll go with the rational one and the one that won't wreck our economy. Thats the one most of the rest of the world goes with. They like their fuel and mine lots of it.

  10. this issue has nothing to do with science. and that is the whole point.
it has to do with politics, fashion trends, and environmental hysteria, and those things are more frightening than global warming.

  11. All you can be sure about is that man doesn't affect climate much and neither can we change it. Global warming is too closely associated with Gore who stands to make money by man's effort to try to change the climate. The environmentalists need impartial spokesmen to be believable.

Tosh, based on assumed causality and spurious extrapolation.
