  1. SUCH A POINTLESS QUESTION. LOOK WHO'S TRYING TO SAY IT IS—A GUY WHO MAKES BILLIONS SELLING CARS THAT PUMP OUT GREENHOUSE GASES BY THE TON, AND WHOSE COMPANY IS OWNED BY THE PEOPLE WHO PRODUCE THE FUEL. CONVENIENT.

  2. Funny to look at this 5 years later.
There are more polar bears than anytime in recorded history, both polar ice caps are growing and
the earth hasn't warmed in over 19 years!

  3. Every single other planet and all their moons are also getting warmer so there ya go.
Think about it, as we have grown warmer so has our own moon.
Also, the Volcano I live on (Hawai'i) puts out more pollution in a single day than the entire industrialized history of mankind.

  4. the oceans have risen the same rate as since thousands of years, temperatures are the same since 1880… there is no warming nor climate change… no matter if a TV astrophysicist or anchor say so… the DATA is against that crazy theory…

  6. Climate change is here, i live in Australia and in our region 800 km north of Sydney ,near the ocean, i have noticed that in the last 20 years the minimum temperature ( Night) used to be +6-8 degrees, now it does not drop below +11-12. So, that's 4-5 degrees more. Luckily the maximum has been less rapid in increasing, the change is around +1-2 more. I also noticed that it rains less frequently. not a good sign.

I'm really disappointed in Tyson's bullshit response. He shoulda manned-up and just told this asshole the facts instead of bing a diplomat.

  8. >< What about the fact that is the overwhelming consensus of all the climate scientists ? <<
Neil Degrasse Tyson is an ordinary propagandist, not a scientist. :-)) One, who like any other propagandist is making money out of ARROGANTLY supporting "fake data" :-)))
Google….. Exposed: How world leaders were duped into investing billions over manipulated global warming data :-)))

  9. People have witnessed tornadoes for thousands of years, it's not a new phenomenon caused by global warming. Science does explain why the "tornado ally" in the US gets so many tornadoes. The Rocky Mountains in the east of the of the continent channels cold northern winds further South than they normally would travel, this combined with warmer winds coming from the warmer Gulf of Mexico increases the frequency of tornado formation

  10. Can't wait till the earth warms up and we can all live in a paradise. Liberals, if you like the cold move to Canada like many of you promised after Trump got elected!

  11. Mr. Lutz is 100% correct. Within the next 15 years it will be back to "the evidence proves" that it is getting colder. Wherever the money ( Grants to colleges and individual scientists ) points. Money gets the scientists to say whatever the " investors " with the money want them to say. People should read ( in detail ) what BOTH sides of the debate say with open minds. I know it won't matter but just my opinion.

  14. I love uncle George but he was wrong on this one. The mere fact that he says "*haven't we done enough?*" admits we've done most of the damage, and our industries (see Ocean Deoxygenation linked to raise of CO2 in atmosphere), our stupidity (See what traditional Chinese medicine has done to the Rhino, that's NOT nature doing its bidding).

The whole 'joke' is self-contradictory. Unless that's the point, but in that case, why so much people taking it seriously here?

  16. So, the human capacity to go against nature willingly is to be taken with a pinch of salt, huh?

The idea that the Earth will be here after we (humans) are long gone is not only naïve but based on an assumption. Carlin almost challenges us to destroy our own planet! And we can do that. It's easy!

  17. I generally love George Carlin's work. Hell, I saw him twice in concert. He misses the mark here, though, in a big way. When fucking developers clear a vibrant forest for a golf course or a subdivision, they are arrogantly interacting with nature. Compassionate and insightful interaction, while seeking to learn how to interact more intelligently, is a far cry from this, which Carlin seems to have no issue with.

  18. Hands down the most honest person I've ever heard.
He didn't fall for all the nonsense news articles, or the stupidity of believing in a religion.
To me, He spoke the truth and nothing but the truth.

  19. No Global warming mentioned. I think his point has validity and nuanced, what he is saying is this whole "protecting the planet" is bullshit, yes global warming can occur, but it will kill humans and make it uninhabitable for humans. The planet will be fine.

The part where I diverse is to not account for the species being killed off because of our lifestyle seems very odd for George Carlin to say. He says some species are killed off naturally, but he kinda implied there are species that are not.

And plastic/cans from the perspective of the planet, YEA "sure" the planet will incorporate it and will be fine. But again it seems odd that he discounts we are living creatures on this planet, we shouldn't do stupid things to make it polluted and uninhabitable for the living things around here.

Sounds like George doesn't like cleaning his room growing up. It feels odd because I like him, but his argument seems to run on thin ice.

I guess it's good to see even people you admire, you don't agree on everything.

  20. I think mother nature wants to work with us or at least wants to help us.The answer she has provided us is marijuana because it makes people less aggressive and actually gives us a sense that we are part of the planet. Making us more active in the legalization process in order to save ourselves from our destructive and perverted ways. If you smoke, you probably know what I'm talking about.

(at)1:10 "Leave nature alone…" If we had left nature alone in the first place instead of over farming, over fishing, deforestation, spilling billions of gallons of oil and pumping trillions of pounds of carbon into the air we could just let these animals die off…we are fucking shit up..this is why we save endangered species…Fucking love Carlin tho!
