Large Harvest From the 100% Indoor Organic Garden

It was our first harvest from the organic indoor square foot garden and it was a big one! We will be making a nice healthy salad with these greens and they will be a welcome addition from the lack of fresh home grown produce.

  1. I like all your future ideas, and teachers are supposed to encourage kids, not put down, I'm 60 years old and love your channel and I work with grade 1/2s

  2. This is off topic…I've been watching all your garlic videos and have a question. What do you think about planting today? I'm sure we will have more snow in Michigan since it's only February. As you know, today is almost 70!!! I'm itching to get out in the garden.

  3. awesome looking salad you are going to have we started growing our plants indoors to go out in a low poly tunnel raised bed and have been enjoying lots of fresh herbs all winter we even brought in some strawberry plants that are just exploding in a south facing window near Toronto Canada

  4. i read recently that one should pinch off leaf harvests, rather than clip them with scissors, as using scissors causes the cut area to "weep" too much, creating more stress on the plant. any thoughts / experience on this?

  5. I do a lot of hydroponics and own just about every type of grow light. Without getting into the best and newest technologies, if you get a 400 watt Metal Halide you power bill will be cut in half and for same amount of light. T5 are great for little vertical space, Metal Halide would work in your space well. Also put an oscillating fan in there and growth will increase.

  6. I love this! What kind of growing lights are you using? I would love to see a video on growing lights and how they are used, please.

  7. What have you been using to catch the runoff from your fabric pot? I recently purchased 2 as well as pot saucers to put underneath, but it doesn't look like they'll be sufficient in collecting the runoff and keeping my cabinet clean. Have any thoughts or suggestions?
