NASA Earth Science at 2030: a Vision of the Future

NASA has studied our home planet for more than 40 years — from space, in the air and on the ground — seeking to reveal the complex interactions among Earth’s natural systems and improving forecasts of weather, climate, and natural hazards.

This video presents a vision of the future and demonstrates how technology advances may change the way we observe and study Earth.

Earth Science Week is your exciting introduction to learning about the Earth sciences!

  1. Incredible, and very reassuring to know that we're monitoring so much information about what's going on, and what's going to happen.

Next on the list is the solution to the problems we're faced with, such as the cracking/thinning/over-melting of the ice caps, and hopefully; with the amount of data supplied from this network of satellites/vehicles we can better see what can be done.

    Great video!
