  1. If you have 2 carrots and 1 is organic and the other is an economy range carrot you'll find that the economy range carrot will taste more sweet and appealing. Economy range produce has been grown quickly on an NPK fertiliser. This makes it taste sweeter and it will have a greater water content than an organic carrot. Organic veg will have been fertilised with fish, blood and bone meal, animal manures and other natural fertilisers. This will give produce less sweet with a lower water content per kilo but with more minerals and nutrients. This is why organic is better for you.

  2. GMO-free and synthetic-fertilizer/pesticide-free products are standing in the way of executives getting record bonuses… So, time to bash nature.

  3. This is missing the point to me. If it is GMO, then the price should be cheaper…. Or why the hell put it in front my face…

  4. Do people not realize we shouldn't even have these two options? Organic is the way food is supposed to be consumed. Why would anyone want their food to be experimented with and full of toxic ingredients.

  5. Here in Bulgaria most people have their own gardens from where they get their fresh produce and/or buy from local farmers. Only the more exotic fruits/vegetables etc. we get from supermarkets/farmers' markets with international (mainly greek) produce. This is also relevant for meat and dairy. We also make our own fruit jams and juices.

  6. There is no such thing as Organic bananas. It's been so heavily modified by humanity. It's up there with one of the most modified foods out there.

  7. Organic fertilizers. vs. petrochemical based fertilizers. …the biggest scam ever. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. And organic fertilizers pollute groundwater with nitrates and phosphates just as much. The taste difference is placebo effect. And yields with organics are generally less.
