  3. Hmm, I've never heard of a clothes washing machine with auxiliary heaters.
Comparing power bills with a neighbor really means nothing at all about specific water heater operation costs.

  4. Thanks, but I stopped watching soon after your comment that your July electric bill was $300? and your comparable neighbor was $700, but you failed to mention what you and your neighbor keep your A/C thermostat set at? A/C is 60% of your electric bill.

  5. Hello there. I have a feeling my plumber installed this with some risk. The hot water and cold water pipe are above the device with a flex hose connected to the bottom of the unit. Not sure why he didn't set the EcoSmart above the water pipe. Do you feel this is risky if water drips from the pipe into the unit, this could damage the electrical correct?

  7. Interesting video. I'm guessing that electric tankless water heaters don't require annual flushing out of calcium, true? How much of a delay is added to your wait for hot water compared to a tank water heater? I'm considering a tankless system but want one that can stand up to circulating hot water throughout the home using an Intelli-Circ hot water circulation controller. I like the idea of having both scheduled and on-demand hot water readiness provided by the Intelli-Circ.
