Tomorrow’s Transportation – Alternative Energy Cars

A quick look at some of the hot cars that are using alternative fuels to drive America’s new energy economy.

For more information on geothermal energy, please visit: http://www.chevron.com/stories/energy.story/allstories/geothermal/. Chevron is the world’s largest producer of geothermal energy, a renewable energy resource that captures the natural power of steam from the earth to generate electricity while producing almost no greenhouse emissions. Chevron’s geothermal plants in Indonesia and the Philippines produce enough alternative energy to power millions of homes. This video describes how Chevron produces geothermal energy.

  1. (at)4duncanm true, but with solar panels its free! already here in Australia more and more people are producing way more than what they need. My house has a 3Kw system and produces more than what we need.

  2. Unsafe? The Aptera will be conducting full car crash tests on theres. It has front air bage, side air bags and some equivalent of side air bags (I think mounted on the seatbelts).

    I don't know about the others ..

  3. i dont see how it will create jobs. It will be the same amount. New workers for alternative vehicles and goodbye to the workers of the todays vehicles.

  4. Nice movie. However you can make it yourself. Just google INPLIX and learn how to do it easily
