  1. Hi, my name is Sandalphon and I live here in Manoa…I am from Alaska….what I am writing about is the role small islands must play in the future in order for us to live in sanity for us who dwell here…..First off why did a small Island need automotive capabilities to get from one place to another???….The noise does not match the natural beauty on these islands…..A camp site every to miles with permaculture food forest inbetween could be the future instead…..If it will become the future then we must disassemble the metro ambition from the Island…..take it down and replace structures with simple dwellings that bio- degrade if per-chance a hurricane makes a mess out of all the structures we have that try to be like the mainland,Tokyo,New YorK and L.A….We are responsible for the debris being in the ocean if such a catastrophe were to happen………Our nature must stand out more than our property pimping and advertising…..More birds have died in Hawaiian islands than any place in the world…..This is supposed to be a love nest of paradise that allow the natural features of nature to stand out and be adored……One could move from one campsite to another everyday to appreciate the contours of these sacred shrine islands as they were intended to be…….We should be the background and the islands should stick out……..I believe in a better way and I am sure you do too…Aloha ..thank you for listening…..<3
