Why not both at the same time?
If a conventional wind turbine takes 24 years to generate the power required to offset the cost of its production (and it does) in the first place, how long will one of these take to do the same?

or just use the modern 4th generation nuclear reactors that are actually cheaper, pollute less than the fabrication process of these "turbines", the environmental impact is actually smaller because a nuclear reactor size is just a single building instead of an entire field and produce 100x the electricity
It looks like it would take dozens of those to equal the electricity powered by one turbine.
