Do Tankless Water Heaters Require Complicated Venting?

Contractors and their customers don’t want to bust their budget on venting. Join builder Matt Risinger in the lab to see the easy and inexpensive tankless venting options.

I installed this Bosch Therm 520 HN LP Tankless water heater in my home with a Rheem RTG20220AB Webstone Tankless Service Valve kit and six feet of 5″-Diamete B-Vent stove pipe. This water heater uses a new technology that requires NO ELECTRICITY or battery power. The water turns an internal turbine which generates electrical spark to ignite the heater burner fed by a propane bottle.
