I'm in an apartment in Denver and my apartments don't even have recycling 🙁 I've been wanting to compost, but with all the worms and things I've seen on the internet, I think it's a little overwhelming at first, to start/begin. Fortunately, my sister has chickens and a garden, so does my mom!

  6. My family has been composting for 20+ years with a worm bin out in the backyard since there wasn't really any other way to do it. I live in Canada now and they city supplies each household with a food scraps bin that gets taken away every week with the garbage and recycling. My apartment building even does it! I'm impressed with all your efforts to compost, even though it isn't easy!!

  7. does your local council not collect food waste? its pretty common in the uk…when the recycling/normal waste is collected you have a separate food bin!
