UKM Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car

The UKM Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car is a golf cart powered by a UKM-designed and built 3 kW Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) using hydrogen energy developed by the Fuel Cell Institute UKM.
The UKM Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car is:
Very environmental friendly
Zero emission
High energy efficiency of 50% (cf. normal car engine 30%)
High power density
Small and easy to manufacture
Lighter than the replaced battery (25% of Battery weight)
Smaller space than replaced battery (75% of battery space)
UKM short for Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is the National University of Malaysia
The Fuel Cell institute was founded in 2006 after more than 12 years of fuel cell and hydrogen energy research in UKM.

  2. Terbaik UKM. Tahniah atas usaha ini walaupon mustahil utk dikomersialkan kerana ia akan memberi impak yg besar kpd industri minyak Malaysia kerana ia merupakan pendapatan utama kita. Saya sendiri dlm process utk menghasilkan prototype sendiri hydrogen cell nie cumanyer sebagai permulaan, saya lebih berminat kpd wet cell drp dry cell walaupon dry cell lebih efficient. Doakan saya. Mudah-mudahan usaha ini dpt membantu khususnyer ekonomi umat Islam drp bergantung kpd monopoli minyak org bukan Islam…

  3. hho cell convert water to hidrogen gas, with ss metal plate can produce hidrogen from water, ready used at my scrambler motorcycle as fuel. no patrol any more. definitely this hho cells can use to electric generators motors or peltiers to produce independent home electricity.

  4. This is not a car its a golf cart. Gold carts have tons of battery power. You are bypassing the issue that the engine can't generate enough electricity to run the electrolysis machine with a massive battery bank. You would be far more efficient using the batteries to run the electric motor that golf carts come with. Instead you get far less travel time for the same amount of charge before your battery are to depleted to keep going.

  5. 😥bertahun tahun dh berlalu tapi masih lgi petrol,desel dn hydrogen , pling lates pun bateri serta hybrid.segla kjian telh dibuat wlpun stkat krta golf'kira oklhhh, sptutnya krjaan perlu mggunkn insitif trsbut dlm stiap apa2 pkra untk pkembgn pmbgunan janakuasa yng bhru.ambil ctoh suel Korea-pmbekal eltrik bgi stiap rumah dn mna2 bagunan.dgn Adanya fuell cell ini'takylh nk buka hydro barulh,tenaga nuklearlh,batu aranglh dlln.yalahh sprti kita tahu krjaan tara nk rugi😁

  6. I have an idea for commercialization. If it is possible to combine HFC stacks and an high powered electric motor into one package that is about the size of an internal combustion engine or ICE (and produce it at a reasonable price), that could be a disruptive innovation. This package can then be retrofited or replace the ICE in production cars with no need for major redsign of the car, apart from the hydrogen tanks replacing petrol tanks. Just a suggestion

  7. good work sir … if i want to run acar with 3 wheel .. with out any gass only hho … how many littres of hho will it need at minute and how many electristy will it need to analayes water ..? and if i want u to do aone for me how much is it?
